Mongraal Sells Dookey Dash Golden Key For $1.6 Million!
• Twitch streamer Kyle Jackson, known as Mongraal, sold his one-of-one “Golden Key” earned by receiving the highest score on Yuga Labs’ skill-based NFT game Dookey Dash for 1,000 ETH (about $1.6 million).
• The Golden Key allows holders to summon their “Power Source” on March 8.
• The sale was negotiated with Adam Weitsman, CEO of Upstate Shredding. Royalties will be paid in full to Yuga Labs.
Dookey Dash Key Sold for $1.6M
The one-of-one “Golden Key” was earned by receiving the highest score on Yuga Labs’ skill-based NFT game Dookey Dash last month. Twitch streamer Kyle Jackson, who is known by his pseudonym Mongraal, sold the key for 1,000 ETH (about $1.6 million) to Adam Weitsman, the CEO of New York-based scrap metal shredding company Upstate Shredding. By owning this key, holders can use it to summon their “Power Source” on March 8 and royalties will be paid in full to Yuga Labs.
Negotiation Process
Mongraal initially listed the pass at 2,222 ETH (about $3.6 million) on OpenSea and refused smaller offers from UPDAO and 9GAG before agreeing to sell it for 1,000 ETH to Weitsman via OpenSea.
